Define range and function

test instructions 022 from xcf 021

It is determined here in which decision table elements the test instruction should be generated; the following can be selected from: conditions, actions or rules.

A condition, action or rule area in which the test instruction should be generated is selected with from-to entries.

In the case of conditions and actions also a value from a dynamically created list of all condition or action values available can be optionally selected. If no value is selected, the conditions or actions themselves are the target.

At the end of the list, the following values can still be selected from:

'−'

Irrelevant - only if actions are selected: the test instruction should be generated in the "irrelevant values" of the actions

'*'

All – only if conditions or actions are present with value tables for selection: the test instruction should be generated in all values

Ultimately, the generation function is selected, i.e. if the test instruction should be generated:

  • set as a new instruction

  • added above to (possibly already existing) instructions

  • added below to (possibly already existing) instructions

  • removed from (existing) instructions
