Linking decision tables with test data
LF‑ET offers two possibilities of determining test data files to be used in test case generation:
Variant 1: In the generation dialog
Embedding of test data can be determined individually for each generation in the dialog for configuring generation.

Variant 2: Linking at the decision table level
Alternatively, links to files that contain test data can also be defined at the decision table level.
Links must begin with the "*GTD." prefix so that LF‑ET can recognize that a link should be used for embedding test data. Here is an example:
If the title is left empty when establishing a link, LF‑ET checks automatically whether tables with test data are contained in the linked file. Should this be the case, LF‑ET creates the title from the table name automatically.
