Rule group action
The links between rule groups are defined by an additional "last" action:

-
The last action in the decision table
-
The title of the action must contain the same rule group keyword (here "step") as in the rule group condition
-
A value table must be defined for the action
-
The symbols in this value table must be a subset of the values in the rule group condition
-
If you simply want to continue with the next rule group, you can also use a value with the symbol "+" and the designation "Continue with next rule group"
-
In most cases, an "exit value" is defined at the end of the value table to trigger the end of processing of this decision table
-
For each rule, it is clearly defined with which rule group the processing is to continue or whether the processing of the decision table is to be terminated
-
When checking the decision table, the system checks both the accessibility of each rule group and the validity of the entries in the rule cells of the rule group action
