Tracking of links

This function analyses all relations between nested decision tables and their rule groups.

To track and analyze the interrelationships, the links to decision tables in conditions, condition values, actions and action values are analyzed. The targeted selection of rules in linked decision tables is also supported; see: Additional functions when opening decision tables

If links to decision tables are not to be taken into consideration in such an analysis as they e.g. only serve fast navigation in a project, in the sense of cross-references, the title of the link must contain one of the following keywords, along with a colon, the upper/lower case being irrelevant:
  • cross-reference:

  • info:

  • see:

  • see also:

This list of keywords can be individually adjusted with the optional parameter −ignoreLinkKeys:

  • Blanks are sufficient delimiters of keywords

  • If a keyword as such contains blanks, commas or semicolons, they should be enclosed in single inverted commas, e.g. 'see also'

  • They are case-insensitive
