The search function

A powerful search function can be used to identify and mark any elements. The marked elements can be jumped to directly. This supports navigation in large diagrams with many node elements.

The search field can be shown and hidden via the graphic context menu (right-click on the graphic background):

Wildcards (placeholders) can be used in the search input:

   ?

any single character
   *

one or several arbitrary characters

Several search terms can be entered and must be separated by a semicolon (";") or a comma (",").

The input field of the search function is abandoned with the TAB key or with a mouse click on the graphic.

The determined result set is marked and can be jumped to individually with the shortcut CTRL+F (go to next hit) or CTRL+SHIFT+F (go to previous hit)

All nodes of the determined result set are marked and using the following keyboard shortcuts

  • CTRL + F (go to next hit) bzw.

  • CTRL + SHIFT + F (go to previous hit)

can be jumped to one after another.
 

If, for example, only decision tables are displayed, you can proceed as follows:

  1. Search all decision tables: *.lfet

  2. Hide all except for search results (right-click on the graphic background> Context menu> Hide> All except for search results)
