Irrelevant conditions
A group of rules with the same action pattern can be compressed if these rules differ in only one condition and all the values of this condition occur in the rules. Regardless of the value of the condition, the same actions are always executed. The condition is therefore irrelevant for this set of rules and the rule group can be reduced to a single rule, with “-” being set as the irrelevance indicator for the irrelevant condition.
