Background

The keyword Background can be used to summarize a sequence of Given instructions as general preconditions for the overall Feature file in the sense of a setup method.

In the general precondition for a decision table

  • all rows starting with the Background keyword are summarized as the Feature file

  • all other rows are output as a Given instruction at the beginning of each test case
