Maintenance and Security Update

This version mainly contains improvements and bug fixes.

In addition, some of the libraries included in the delivery have been replaced by newer versions:

  • to take advantage of functional improvements

  • to close security gaps that have been published in the meantime

PlantUML

PlantUML is a free software documentation tool for creating a UML diagram based on the GNU General Public License (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PlantUML).

At present, LF‑ET can create PlantUML activity diagrams or PlantUML status diagrams from decision tables then save them as SVG or PNG files, respectively:

Bug fixes:

  • Symbols and titles of conditions and actions containing the percent sign (%) could cause an error message and interrupt chart generation

Improvements:

  • Significantly more compact and smaller files for charts in PNG format

  • Better and more consistent text alignment

  • Under certain circumstances, an error message could occur in the Navigator when recursively displaying all outgoing links, causing the function to terminate

Program generation

Improvements:

  • In some cases, the left margin was not aligned correctly when importing logical expressions for conditional values

Test case generation

Improvements:

  • The ID of a test suite is now derived from the file name for decision tables with empty titles

  • In state-based testing with 0-switch coverage, recursive rule calls (e.g., R05-R05) are now suppressed
