Undoing and redoing

This section describes undoing and redoing of operations on deci­sion ta­bles.

Internal saving of all changes can result in an increased demand for main memory in rare cases, see e.g.: memory requirement.

Undoing of entries and changes

Using the menu bar

  • Select Undo from the Edit menu

Using the icon bar

  • Click Undo 02 in the icon bar

Using keyboard shortcuts

  • Press CTRL + Z

Redoing undone changes

  • Select Redo from the Edit menu

Using the icon bar

  • Click Redo 02 in the icon bar

  • Press CTRL + Y

Hints

  • To abort an entry in a cell, press ESC instead of ENTER.

  • Undoing changes in a decision table is limited to the last 40 pro­ce­du­re steps by default. LF‑ET continuously monitors the memory require­ment and auto­matically adjusts this figure “down”, if necessary, in the case of very large deci­sion ta­bles.

  • All changes with a time interval of less than 1‑second are combined into one change. This supports fast work and helps save memory space.
