BackupHistoryVersion

A new, high-performance version of the back file management is selected with the V02 value.

If decision tables are based on network drives, disturbing delays may occur in rare cases during saving. The management of backup files could be identified as the cause, hence, the second version has been developed.

Improvements in version V02:

In order to differentiate between backup files, the time stamp of the backup file (yyyyMMddHHmmss) is used instead of a consecutive number
As a result, the chronological sorting and time-consuming new numbering of backup files that used to be necessary before each saving, is dispensed with
In addition, all further management functions are now executed after saving and also asynchronously, i.e. in the background in parallel, e.g.:
- Deleting the oldest backup file(s) when the specified maximum number is exceeded (BackupHistoryLength)
- Zipping of backup files (BackupHistoryZip)
