Log and Statistics

Du­ring simulation all questions and answers are automatically recorded internally. The same applies to all rules that have been run completely and that can additionally be also statistically evaluated so that rule coverage can be checked by simulation.

If the last action of a rule is completed du­ring simulation i.e. always when a rule is run completely the user can decide to have the log and the statistical evaluation displayed.

  • The log is saved as a simple text file

  • The statistical evaluation is saved to an Excel file

Once the simulation is completed, LF‑ET checks the current status of the log and offers the following options:

The log and statistical evaluations for this simulation

  • are to be saved permanently

  • are to be deleted

  • are to be displayed

Evaluation of any number of log files:

  • The time stamp of the simulation start is used as part of the file name so that an individual evaluation is produced for each simulation

  • With an aid of the AnLog LF‑ET function (Analysis of log files) any number of such simulation logs can be evaluated as aggregate statistical data

  • The simulation, combined with evaluation possibilities, is thus also suitable as an approval instrument
