Filtering test data

A filtering instruction consists of 3 elements:

  1. Column name

  2. Comparison operator

  3. Reference value

    • A matter of taste: Reference values must not be put in single or double quotation marks, however, legibility of filtering instructions can thus be improved

    • In the case of text reference values that are not put in quotation marks, LF‑ET also checks whether a reference value refers to an invalid column name, see also Filtering test data by column values

In order for the "Embedding and filtering test data" area to be opened in the test instruction editor, there must be a link to a test instruction subgroup for embedding and filtering test data.
